Anne Pang – Martial Artist of the Year Kung Fu

Anne was the only female who was awarded for her outstanding achievements and contribution in the discipline of the martial arts that she has been practicing for the past almost 50 years. In the photo above she proudly received the trophy amongst other recipients on the day.

Anne had the honour of been awarded The Martial Artist of the Year – Kung Fu on the 19th November 2022. It is the inaugural martial arts awards organised and given by Martial Arts Australia, a national martial arts organisation linking and helping students, instructors, and club owners to advance their training in martial arts. This was a historical moment for Anne as it was the first Award of this kind in Australia and she was extremely humbled by the Award.

In her own words ‘This award has made me more determined to share my knowledge and skills and passion for the arts with the world, especially women.’
